This Mobile App Privacy Policy explains how Standard Textile Co., Inc. collects, uses, and discloses personal information for services accessed through the CubeControl® application (the "App").
When a hospital registers to use our Linen Management Service, it sets up users for its account. When a user logs in to use this App, we collect your user name and password information. It is possible that your user name is personal information, depending on how your login credentials were created by you or your hospital. In addition, we collect email addresses for sending reports. When you use the App, we collect real-time information about the location of your cubicle curtains. The camera function is for scanning QR codes only. It has no capture button and cannot record any image.
We do not sell or rent your personal contact information or your hospital's contact information, but we may share certain deidentified and/or aggregate data with third parties to improve the functionality of the App and/or to create our annual benchmarking key performance indicators. In the future, this App or Standard Textile could be sold or transferred. If that happens, the information we have gathered may be one of the assets transferred.
We use your user name and password to enable you to log in to the App and enter cubicle curtain tracking data. We then use your login credentials and the data to create management reports on curtain locations, change schedules, and status history by facility and location. Your hospital can associate your login credentials with your actual name, but we have access only to your login credentials, not your actual name.
We take precautions — including administrative, technical, and physical measures — to safeguard your login credentials and entered data against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Remember that nothing online is 100% secure. While we use standard methods to protect login credentials and data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We may retain login credentials and entered data indefinitely for technical purposes, market research, and the hospital's future use. Your hospital may revoke your login credentials by contacting us or by logging into its account and following the deletion procedures explained therein. We reserve the right to delete information when it is no longer needed for any of the uses discussed in this Policy.
You can stop the collection of information by uninstalling the App using the procedures established by your mobile device.
We do not currently have the capability to recognize browser "Do Not Track" signals. We adhere to the standards set forth in this Privacy Policy.
This App is not intended or designed to attract children under the age of 13. We do not collect any type of information from any person we actually know is a child under the age of 13.
Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83, users who are California residents can request certain information about the sharing of their own personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes during the past year. The information which you have a right to receive includes the categories of personal information disclosed by us for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year and the names of the companies that received such information. You are entitled to receive a copy of this information in a standardized format, and the information will not be specific to you individually.
